I’ve been grappling with words to try and convey how wonderful it is to see these magnificent animals living wild in their own land. There are so many surprises on our morning drives as we pass through different terrains and come upon beasts of all sizes. This morning in the orange glow before sunrise an elephant foraged in the foreground, three giraffe, silhouetted by Acacia trees ambled along, and in the background a hundred ungulates grazed.
Sometimes a situation is so sublime you don’t even want to reach for the camera. And then sometimes you do.
