Trails and Gardens

We hope guests will feel free to stroll around the trails and make use of vegetables and strawberries you find to enhance your meals. There are outside gardens below and above the greenhouse, rhubarb and chives along the creek and usually an abundance of stuff in the greenhouse itself. Robbie likes flowers too so you will see lots of colorful blooms interspersed here and there.

The neighbor’s horses enjoy carrots but we usually buy those from the store.

We do ask that folks stay well back from the bluff edge as it is undercut in places and a 300 ft drop down to the beach. Just don’t go beyond the Howser line fence and all will be good..

There is a sidewalk a mile up to Overlook Park or 2 miles down into town. There is usually a couple mountain bikes around. In winter a network of cross country ski trails are groomed.

2015 was a great year for tomatoes. We made lots of salsa.
